Following the night's panic over Runica's illness, the team spoke with CorFor over their intel and the particulars of the necromantic plague which swept Mosulk so many years ago. A number of discoveries came to light that day—that the ruins of Kova were once the U.V.S. Innsmouth and that the dragon Wren is seeking came from it, to which the representatives of the kobolds in the capitol might have leads on; that there was far more to the plague than what they had known, and Runica had gained a modified form of it. With their mission nonetheless complete, they got ready to return to the capitol, where they were joined by Runica's nanny Aramara and wound up meeting with CorFor again when they joined a wagon train heading to the Capitol with some goods from the Argensolde Trading Company aboard.

With the news of the rogue Judicator Thran Kearney given to them by Algister, the group checked in with the guild—admittedly rather uncertain of the wisdom in such a plan—and were greeted by Officer Geoff. An exchange of news was had, and while they were still cautious, it was in fact thanks to Thran's corroborating reports that the group's warning about Drakhan wasn't dismissed immediately. Meanwhile, much of Kova is in chaos, with refugees pouring into the capitol from out west. For now, the group waits for news on where the madman went, poised to set out and stop him from making a terrible mistake that will play right into Gamello's own insidious plans.

Team Starfox[edit]
Members: Anohito, Rikona, Ankh
Objective: Help Desk Job—Fight off the Marauders!
Current Location: Krava, between Mythorion and Matsutoro

After a few days' travel, Anohito and Rikona made it to Matsutoro, only to encounter an unexpected ally; Anohito's childhood friend, Ankh, had been searching for the tengu after his disgrace in Lingshen and wound up in Krava thanks to the two nations of Sarusan being so damned similar, and has largely been taking odd jobs and avoiding the marauder attacks since then. Additionally, Ankh has been in the care of the grippli the duo met before, who also ran the shanty town's inn and restaurant. Thus, amidst a bit of shopping for supplies and a lot of getting drunk on baiju (to which Ankh abstained from), the three spent their evening sharing history and catching up, and now with Ankh in tow, they've gone on to the temple of Hei Feng to meet with the one who posted the mission! While, as mentioned, two of them are drunk.

Brought to Drakhan Tower by a special summons (in different senses of the word for each of them), the sinister mermaid and the plucky tiefling have witnessed the end of the world and been offered a job by the suspiciously knowledgable guildmaster Gamello. Their mission: locate the rogue judicator Thran Kearney, located in the Crossings, and eliminate him, and in return they've been promised power as two of Gamello's trusted subordinates. For now, they're on a wagon out east, with various implements to look over and figure out on the way. As always though, when ambition meets ambition, everyone's looking for a knife behind them...
